Sold my holding in ESG on Friday. Have probably sold a little early but a 5c or 10c move in ESG is not a big deal.
My thinking is that I already have exposure to any takeover of ESG via HGO over the next 18 months. If there isnt a takeover of ESG in the next 18 months then ESG will have to come back to the market for more cash and it is unlikely its share price will move too far.
In contrast HGO is trading far below fair value. If it weakens over the next week or so I will start topping up.
