Forget the greenie kicker for the fan boys too, it's commercial at this stage. That's why the government can't get anyone to burn their money on their stupid coal and gas expansion plans for the coal lobby.
It's expensive here because the government favours existing fossil fuel and has biased the market in their favour so that the consumer pays the price of subsidised coal and gas power when it should be replaced for economic reasons.
