If you are going to talk about electricity prices, you really need to specify exactly what price and what component of costs you are referring to. Otherwise you will waste time talking about high total prices and start comparing total electricity prices with the cost of generating electricity elsewhere:

From the ACCC July 2018 Enquiry:

Residential, Small and Medium size entities and Commercial and Industries consumers tariffs:

    …………………….........…….......……………..Res...……………………………..SME...……………………………...C&I

    ………………………………………..………………..c/KWH...……………………….c/KWH...………………………….c/KWH

    Wholesale Electricity...…………………………….10.1...…………………………….11.1...……………………………….. 8.3

    Network and Retail Costs …………………………17.6...…………………………….13.2...………………………………..5.9

    Environmental Costs...………….……………….. 1.9...……………………………… 2.2...………………………………..1.5

    Total...………………………………………………….29.6...…………………………….26.5,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,...…….. 15.7

A bit outdated now, but does highlight retail prices are higher than commercial prices and that wholesale electricity costs are only one component of overall costs.
