"Governments now even want to reach into your home & turn off the solar when excess during the day along with charging a fee to export into the grid. To address major drops in operational demand that could compromise grid stability and cause blackouts, the South Aust state government has given the green light to the Australian Energy Market Operator to switch off its rooftop PV fleet in times of emergency."
Which is a ridiculous idea.
They need to free up the market so that a company can sign up households as their supplier and charge a fee for their service. All they need is a large commercial battery, which can easily be expanded with modules, that takes the excess power from their customers and sells it into the grid when demand is high. Problem solved and happy customers.
