Sorry mate ...If the market "finally wakes up" as you call it,.. It still continues to value stocks via perception ... You are thinking about it reaching your idea of true value, which, although paradoxical, it could very well do.
But at that point in time, it will still only be the markets perceived value of a coy and that will change almost instantly @ the next trade or settle into tight range ... That too will change based on what the market perception is.
