Coxxy in an ideal world companies would be run by professionals that have an actual background in what-ever the company specialises in, however that rarely is the case. At the end of the day we all want to have the best person in the job that has a passion to build the company. I think both TON and SYR appear to have that. You have your concerns about an ex broker running a company and I would agree that many ex brokers do not make good company directors, same could be said for lawyers as some could view that they know how much they can skirt the truth and get away with it. All we can hope for as investors is that the information given to use by our respective company managements is an accurate representation of where the company stands so we can base our investment decisions - sadly so many companies release information these days that is only accurate enough for management to skate by without any serious repercussions but it isn't a true representation of the companies position. I certainly do hope that neither TON or SYR are in the latter camp - even though I have reservations about some of TONs deals.
