That ignores systemic sexism and racism. Or do you think it is just some wild and crazy coincidence that more often than not a white man is the best person for the job at these higher echelons? Perhaps they are superior beings who do not have a vested interest in keeping the jobs for themselves and those who look and think like them?
No one wants an unqualified person in the job. The question is why when there are so many super intelligent and highly qualified women, so few are on boards.
