I feel it could be a good opportunity for a name change before we secure commercial partners and really get noticed.
The name Bio-gene could have negative connotations, such as genetic modification, DNA changing/damaging etc.
Also, there is a company called Biogene which comes up first in Google if the hyphen isn't included.
