I agree with you Battleship.
I posted the 12 month chart of GXY and ORE earlier today to illustrate that the sp movement over the past year has had jack sheet to do with the company. When the mugs that are in charge of the market turn this around, it will go hard in the upwards direction.
They want us to blame the company. They want us to question our holdings. They want us to fight and argue and get fed up with "why aren't we going up when we should be going up" - and ultimately sell our shares. We all know that there has been real and significant advances in the past year (including $380m cash windfall) and that we should now be worth much more than we currently apparently are being valued at by the "market".
The last 12 months makes no fundamental sense so where do we look - not enough info, crap management etc etc - I call BS, and although sure I would like more regular updates, in reality I don't think it would have made any diference to our 12-monh chart.
We all remember the drop on each piece of good news. It made no sense. Part of the plan. Market makers. Playing with the cash of others. Bullying the market and retail and eachother with the cash and power and opportunity.
They missed out on Lithium run #1 because they aren't used to surprise disruptive technologies... So they lied and schemed and shorted because they want a part of it. A big part.
Remember the video from the "shorting" thread? "We just throw another 10 million at it and make it do what we want" or something to that effect. They are operating with an order of magnitude (or 2) more cash than us and can make the price do what they want.
We need a new board now..? No one was saying that at $4, and correlating the 2018 performance of the share price with crap management or lack of updates or delays etc without closely examining the other Li stocks' performance, just doesn't make any sense - do they all need new boards and better updates and faster deals etc etc too..?
We are not that special (terrible/unique). When the market makers decide to go up, we will run.
We aren't a super spec anymore without any funds on board, that can shoot up or down with retail surges. We aren't in control anymore, we are along for the ride now, essentially.
Imo we are about to turn upwards and run pretty hard over the next 6-12 months. The Li demand side can't really be covered up for too long, and that helps us longs.
I reckon our management is looking firmly at the bigger picture and long term and is probably damn frustrated about trying to appease the small retail holders (and yes, I am in that group too). There are no promises in this game. Anyone who expects to get rich quick or wants time frame promises and can't handle the mm reversing it for a year (like they just have), needs to reconsider their risk level and expectations imo.
I think we should be $6 now. Sheet happened and we aren't. Yet.
Good luck to all the holders, especially the ones who have been on the rollercoaster for a while.. Our time will come. It is coming imo. Our fundamentals remain very strong, and we have a heap of cash. All good.
Step back and have a look at the other players in this sector ...imo it is not "us", it is not a lack of comms, it's not AT, it's not too much low grade or higher stripping ratios... It's the mm, and they are succeeding with most of us losing our minds and getting fed up with what are not actually significant problems! Sure some changes will help us understand a bit more about what is going on with the company more frequently, but will that really (really) put the sp where we expect it to be..? With most of the register not in retail hands, I expect not - not at all.
Deals are in the works that will progressively derisk future earnings, and as milestones are ticked off, funds will accumulate and circulate and we will rise. Yes we all want the milestones sooner.. We certainly don't have all the info though so it is just too easy from our side to complain about things taking too long or management being incompetent or whatever.
I think we are just getting so used to easy access to "all the information" about "everything" that it is a sign of the times that we demand more info more regularly... How often does BHP publish shipping info from each of their mines?
That's my 2c worth for this evening..
Cheers
