Windows 8 needs to be checked carefully as it may not support the other hardware you may have from the past.
Believe they (Microsoft)are following Apple by offering an O/S which you may need to add programs to but at a price.
Some reviews vary from OK to very average but reviewers are often a bit critical so that may not matter.
Don't really spend much time with Windows anymore so can't add much.
