@supertramp I think you are mistaken. From the inclusion criteria in the trial I quoted (No NCT01041404):
"Inoperable locally advanced, recurrent, and/or metastatic cancer of the stomach or gastro-esophageal junction"
The trial which you quote was designed to test two different dosing regimens for Herceptin. It was not terminated because Herceptin was ineffective. Indeed, of the combined 65 patients that were analysed in both groups an ORR of >50% was observed.
