I remember Gordon Brown calling for a new world order recently; and now Rudd is calling for it as well. These two guys have something in common, they will face an election that will most likely throw them out of office.
Not surprisingly they are looking to blame someone/something and refuse to accept any responsibility for their part. The easiest thing is to blame the economic system that they exploited to get them elected and currently supports their irrational and irresponsible policies.
The electorate is not as stupid as they think. Why would anyone vote for the same people that got them in this hole to get them out of it. Bye bye Rudd, Brown, Obama and so on.
