The Australian Energy Market operator says 120 to 285 petajoules of additional gas will be needed every year from 2024 to 2037.If not enough Gas, Industries like steel, aluminum, cement, plastics, chemicals, fertiliser and glass as examples of manufacturing that must have gas. No Cheap Energy the above industries will be gone .Only 37 percent of Aussie gas is used in electricity. 26 percent in manufacturing, 22 percent in mining, 12 percent used in household consumption . The east coast needs at least 2 to 4 gas fired power stations.The Prime Minister Morrison wants more gas fields with gas pipelines. Also more gas fired generators producing cheap electricity .

Always? My average buy in is about 11c not sure i agree it's always been cheap. Preth sure those who bought just shy of $2 in 2011 are not celebrating their 'cheap' shares. But at 11c buy in, a chunk of the SPP at 3c and and pretty little GAS contingent resource, i could be convinced Friday's close was cheap
