In case anyone needed more evidence supporting Max's statement this sobering comment from the Optician about gene therapy for ocular diseases may be of interest. The article says:
So here we have diseases of the eye, generally regarded as the easiest target for gene therapy, taking two decades to report results. Kinda makes a few weeks delay for TT-034 seem insignificant don't you think?
