personally, I think he'd be ok

I dislike the concept of Royalty and would like to see the end of it - at least it's connection with Australia

I profess to be a little confused on which way is best for Oz without a GG though - and, most certainly - having a republic and President can bring it's own problems


it seems to work better in Europe than in America -- but, then - most things do


for the actual administration of Oz - the move by both major parties to have a rule to not remove a PM who has won an election except for a very high percentage of party votes to give them the chop

has been - well, stabilising - but, shown to be alarming in the last 3 years

so, to me - any of these moves come with risk - and, pretty hefty risk really - if one is unlucky - the poop can easily hit the fan
