Borden Dairy files for bankruptcy, basically trying to get out from under overwhelming debt. Milk prices are hitting multi-year highs, but traditional milk consumption is still falling by about $1 billion per year. Interesting stat in their statement that 2700 US dairies went out of business last year alone.
