I believe management is keen on taking a slow and steady pace in the US and to achieve profitablity sooner rather than later. Attacking the IF forumla market will take a massive investment and see further drag on EBITDA from their US operations.
In my opinion they need to either go for it 100% or not at all, they've got the cash to do so but then again giving the dire economic situation in the US perhaps it would be wise to hold fire.
I think Jayne had a much more aggressive approach to the US and was keen to through as much capital at it as needed.
