Infill drilling is the most important step toward re-rating a potential into a reserve.
When people value gold stocks they assign a lower probablity to inferred resources and even lower for rock chips samples as you have probably become aware.
So for example, they may value KAL last week at only having 700,000 ounces based on a lower probabilty. Once infill drilling is complete this may raise to 800,000 ounces added to the valuation as probability and confidence is increased. Adding another 100,000 ounces is significant.
I am personally not that confident drill results will drive the s/p price higher, may need to wait until the new jorc statment is released. I am not sure. So it is anyones guess atm because we simply do not know.
But what I do know is that you do not have any clue...at all.
