"or we tell the yanks to go get ******* and sell elsewhere so long as it's not the Taliban."
It won't happen Axegun in my opinion,I just don't believe that the US isn't going to buy MST weapons or the company for that matter, not when you consider a number of things that go directly against what the US DoD has been saying, we have been bulls**tted to IMHO.
1/ Even though they say they aren't buying metalstorm weapons (DoD) they still to this day continue to fund metalstorm to bring their systems to maturity, why when you consider items 2 and 3?
2/The Rand corporation, who provide the US government with information as to future directions of US policy,(they are basically their think tank) said in their document Stealing the Sword, that they were concerned that metalstorm weapons could end up in the enemy's hands?
3/ And a couple of years before that, their own (US) Defence Industrial Base said something very similar, they said that if metalstorm weapons proliferated, then they may not have a means of combatting it?
4/ Why was China so interested in what Mike Odwyer could tell them, and even offered him $100 million to go to China and tell them?
5/ why has every single tie in to metalstorm with respect to non military applications been canned, I have no doubt that the fireworks system would work, or the Pyrogen System for firefighting for that matter, or the Starchase System, and there are many other examples, all gone in a puff of smoke, some of them would have already been ready to market, with very little expense involved, like fireworks for instance , why didn't metalstorm go ahead with that?
I think it was because they were told they were not allowed to?
6/ Metalstorm are not even allowed to talk about one aspect of their technology, (MACH 5/50) they are forbidden by LAW to even talk about it, I was told this at the last AGM, make no mistake here, that is the part that the US wants, there is no doubt in my mind about that!
Ask yourself why DARPA are still funding the DSTO on mach 5/50?
There are many other things in my opinion that point to the US wanting metalstorm technology, I believe they are just waiting for them to mature first, they are letting the Aussies do all the hard work for them that's all, the US tried but failed to get mach 5/50 to work, the DSTO has succeeded from what I read, there is a snowballs chance in hell that the US will let Metalstorm sell to other countries in my opinion, because the US wants to be in control, they will buy out metalstorm before they let MST become viable in their own right!
I could be wrong? but everything I see points to metalstorm being a US company!
