Why this thread even exists is beyond me. Nothing constructive about it at all.
BC you ride it out becomes when/if that announcement comes, you won't be getting back back in at these prices. You will be paying a pretty penny more. Substantially more. But everyone has different risk profiles and trading strategies... Doesn't mean yours or mine or manukes is right or wrong.
I'm free carried, so the SP doesn't mean anything to me and makes no difference to my views on the company and the potential.
You didn't like the risk, so you sold, fair enough but that's your trading strategy... Not everyone's.
