What the 'free carry' brigade are really saying is that they have very little confidence in the future of the company, and thus sold down to recover their stake. Then they attempt to ramp the shares as hard as they can to maximize their final sell down.
Amazes me that these 'free carry' folks have a sentient of 'BUY' and 'HELD' and yet have such little confidence that the company will be great and the SP will be a LT investment.
If they really believed half of what is posted then they would not have sold down to the 'free carry' stage. Thus their posts should be taken wit ha very large pinch of salt.
Eire - you are 100% correct. Free Carry or not it is still ones capital at stake. Very naive to think it is somehow 'free'.
