Possibility for sure. However generally the medical fraternities will not use a new product without trial data, and preferably at least a phase two data set.
Sales without a data driven randomly assigned trial, would be hard to come by.
Same as the IDE, as the name suggests this is an investigational device exemption, and is used to allow a company to perform research. Very limited in terms of sales revenue, IMO.
