But...Is the science strong enough? (maybe but not rigorous) Are the studies current? (no) Are the papers conclusive? (no) Is there any collateral medical opinion / or peer reviewed journal articles suggesting the 2 small studies from almost 10 years ago represent a viable and significant breakthrough? (not that I can find) Will clinicians be prepared to use this agent as presented in its current scientific format. (????) Has radioactive phosphorous been shown to assist in other tumours? (variable data on prostate cancer and ovarian cancer). Will the CE mark make any substantial difference (this is the crux of your bet). What happened to plans for a proposed clinical trial some time ago? Was there a CR to fund this?! What has the company achieved in the last 2 years?
On the other hand... SP doing great. Management looks great. If I had 3 months to live and my pancreatic cancer was causing me pain like a horse standing on my chest and someone asked me to take some money out of my family's inheritance so I could live longer and might not have pain for a while - I would probably take it. What are the negatives?
I could not handle the heat of this dilemma so I got out. Good luck to those braver than me.
