30 years ago our trade with China was minimal and Australia was booming in the mid 90s and we had a robust manufacturing base and we very rarely discussed politics - we had hope - young families could afford houses and jobs were permanent rather part time/casual
Then Globalism took over
and we have since become vassals of our Chinese overlords and our lifestyle have declined
we sold them some of our best farming land and utilities
our politicians sold us out for a few sheckels
Cutting back on Chinese dependency is not the problem
Cutting back on compromised politicians is our biggest problem
Just look at what Dan Ze Dong will do/is doing to Victoria with the Belt and Road Initiative
