    Time for rum.

A MORE local explorer enjoying a price surge is the beautifully titled Rum Jungle Resources.

Named after a historic booze-up in 1871, Rum Jungle shares managed to jump almost 16 per cent yesterday alone to a record close of 25.5c.

The reason is the Ammaroo phosphate project which is looking very promising with significant drilling by two rigs planned from March next year.

Phosphate is part of the same "feed the world" fertiliser mantra that led to BHP Billiton's thwarted $43 billion Canadian potash bid, so the excitement is understandable.

Perhaps shareholders could celebrate the firming price with some rum rather than champagne, given Rum Jungle in the Northern Territory got its name when a bullock wagon carrying the sugary booze to construction gangs bogged on the East Finniss River.

The enterprising bullockies lightened the wagon the only way they knew how but now is the time to load up on Rum Jungle shares, which are a speculative buy.

and if John had some RUM into him then he would of realised the Potash part of the RUM 'rebellion' of last 2 days !!
