China has begun the great leap forward from export led growth to domestic growth.
This began in 2011 when the Chinese administration had recognised some time ago that for China to bridge the wealth gap it had to embark on structural change.
Chinese officials realised that economic growth would need to be driven by other drivers apart from exports to the west as this put China at the whim of, and dependence of European and U.S. economies.
China used to rely almost totally for its economic growth on export, investment and cheap labour.
