In answer to your question and I'm really sorry to say this but NO.
I have been a SH in this company since before the seismic and have nearly 20 years in O&G. I personally do not understand that announcement and i think it's rubbish.
If they can't tell the difference between formation fluid and drilling fluid without the assistance of LWD then we were in a hell of a lot of trouble to start with.
Think about it guys, what did we look for before MWD and LWD?
Did chlorine levels not get measured?
LWD is an amazing tool but when you drill through a water zone you know it, it's really that simple.
I personally sold today and had over 2.5 million shares which resulted in a decent loss.
