Ramsay managed to force through a 2.5% pay rise for its HSU employees. Thirteen months after the staff were entitled to a rise and the company refusing to budge from that offer, the workers were left with little option but to accept it. Given that nearly every other private Health care operator and the public sector gave their employees a pay rise of 4% there will continue to be a skills bleed from Ramsay Hospitals.
