The issue clearly is the timeframe. If you talk 1.5 years plus then why would you want to buy now ? Any potential positive reaction of the SP to drilling success at AWE can easily be wiped out by the need for funding and the concessions that are required to achieve this.
In my view the risk of missing out to buy lower within the above time frame is minimal. I would argue that there are better opportunities to park money for the next year or so and then reevaluate the situation.
