Australia is still a great place to live, the standard of living we have here is amongst the best in the world. You can live in cities with great beaches, minimal polution and a healthy environment.

I think we need a recession here though to bring everyone back to earth. Pull back all the credit, work hard for your possesions for a while. We need to relearn the value of money.

Portugal is a nice place though, piri piri chicken, similar climate and good surf, not the worst place in the world.
