I certainly can relate to your frustration Dooksy.
I spoke with the company this week and was informed the operator is holding things up. The rig is not yet on site and the comment was the company didn't want to give out a 'nothing has happened announcement' so they just let it ride. Not all that smart if you ask me. According to LR the rig is due late next week to do the completion on the Cook Mountain sands. Should take a few days..but possibly longer if they decide to frac it.
LR did express his frustration with Hollimon(mildly), but didn't seem unduly concerned.(One wonders what goes on between phone calls to Hollimon. I think if it were my well and shareholder sitting in between complete capitulation and suspense with the sp at 2.2c, I would be on the phone telling them to pull their finger out on an hourly basis!) I guess to be fair it is a little out of TEX's control, but I do wonder about all this.
On a positive note LR seemed just as confident as in the announcements that the well should flow at quite solid rates. He cited some nearby well flow rates and by inferennce I suppose can hope for similar. 4mmscf/d is about the average for these ones . Can we really hope for that with this mob? I have no idea, but that is oil and gas exploration for you!
