FAR has completed pre-engineering studies with engineering consultancy AMOG
This would not have happened over night. I suspect the work was commenced around the time of the last CR. FAR would have been totally aware of COP talking to WPL. No secret here, since WPL needed to enter the data room, which cannot be done incognito.
Of course what they did not know was the timing of the COP/WPL announcement.
There is a picture emerging, explaining a few unpopular events this year, making FAR look like good strategic players.
I feel quite comfortable now with FAR's management. In the short term, there will only be one potential winner and that's FAR. And when you look at the work done by FAR, the patience and commitment to Senegal, the believe in their knowledge, I think they and this applies to all LTH deserve a return. What has been achieved is classified success (hey Tony!!!) in a very risky and slow moving business.
