    Possibly. But it could work the other way also, as Europe is an area which generally considered mining a product of second and third world counties (and to some extent farming). Of coarse this attitude has started to sway in recent years although permitting is very painful. NIMBY. - so it's a sit back and see in my opinion.

    I suspect the BDI will definitely rise but mainly because of the amount of Cape size ships being used (traditionally for wheat, ore, coal etc.) as Europe will have to source these from further afield - Australia?
    Supramax I suspect may follow. But that's only based on the last event.

    Since I'm Mr Realistic not Mr Negative as some FW's (Funny Wombats) claim, here is some positive news.
