Another year over and this dog still firmly on a leash.

Trying to review reasons why I should hold this and this is the best I can come up with:

1) 35 cents options expiring 11/5/08. Who knows there may be another oppie ramp around April!!!

2) ALD - MRC have 19.5 mill shares which are worth roughly 11.5 cents of the current 19 cents share price. ALD looks as though production is about to start and there may be a re-rating of the ALD share price which in turn will flow to the MRC price. So it may be a cheaper way to get exposure to ALD than buying them directly.

3) Maybe some good news on one of Xolbini, Tormin, Sierra Leone diamonds, Petro ventures (who knows might even get the Tormin approval sometime this quarter).
