Hope that you are right.
At the moment though, I suspect that the momentum in the MRC price is due to ALD. MRC have 19.5 M shares and at 0.92 this equates to about 14.5 cents of MRC's share price. Cash of about $2.5 M equates to another 2 cents, so the value in Tormin, Xolobini, Sierra Leone and Oil interests is only 6.5 cents.
If Tormin gets the go ahead, I am sure that it will add value but not sure how much. They would then need to raise the funds to develop etc. probably by a mixture of debt and equity so how far it can push the price up I cannot say.
Do you have any thoughts on what price impact Tormin approval may have?
May well be the best time to sell if approval is granted and before they turn to financing issues for Tormin.
