Is that what I said? Learning critical thinking and sharing it with my parents has lead to a lifelong wonderful relationship with them. It's a broad sweeping statement but I reckon education is the key to everything.
The concept of questioning 'conventional wisdom' is germane to humans flourishing.
As for ill discipline as you refer to it... We all appreciate good behaviour and respect, but sometimes ignorance needs to be met with resistance.
