Let me give you an example of what you might see.

On the 3rd of may 2013 KAR was $3.99
On the 6th of may KAR gapped up to $4.89 leaving a gap to be filled at $4.73

On the 9th of may KAR was $5.34
On the 10th KAR gapped up again to a high of $6.69 leaving a gap to be filled at $5.76

Now thats 2 pretty big gaps to be filled so after such hefty gains a wise man would be wary and might take a profit.

Then on the 13th of may it finished on $6.69

A double top was formed which tell you it might be best to take profits.

Sure enough it fell all the way down to $4.93 on the 1st of july and in the process close 1 of the gaps.

So a chartist had 3 warnings to take profits golfie.

The first gap, the second gap and the double top.

Now all those warnings came before the significant decline so saying you cannot predict such things before they happen proves that you really are flying blind when you invest your hard earnred golfie.

All you had to do was take a peek at a chart and you would haved save yourself much anquish.

Now that is just a small time lapse example and i could have gone on to make a case up to today but i would be wasting my time.

The point is you can predict where the SP will go BEFORE it happens golfie which might help you in your investment decisions in the future.
