Being a 30 + year teacher I can tell you space talk will be fine and whilst I break my teaching career into 2 era's (pre and post) mobile phone this ban should have come decades ago. I think it will be close to impossible to police, kids live on these things and while schools have strict policies already about phone use in class they are impossible to police and parents demand constant contact regardless. The horse bolted years ago!
