So basically all sensitive announcements are leaked to some extent. Some "the day before" and some "a few hours before" and some "a few minutes before"!
I actually believe you! and I'm not a conspiracy theorist!
It's just that when money/profit is involved, it comes back to basic instinct and human nature. The premise is "how long before the actual announcement, can I leak this information, so as to make it impossible to prove that I or anyone else leaked it?!"
