I have to say I am tempted to buy into DSH as it is at such an all time low price, however I am really struggling to remember when was the last time I bought anything there. I think it must have been in the 90's buying an electric circuit board set for a high school science project.
At least in Melbourne I can not think of their competitive advantage to their competitors such as Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, Target, Myer, David Jones etc.
Retail store size is generally a lot smaller, price point is average and the product range is average. I think they do have more stores locations however with internet shopping I am not sure if that is a key sustainable advantage.
Would love to hear other investor's thoughts.
