Airlines are tough investments.
Low return on capital.
Have to compete against soveriegn subsidised carriers like Etihad and Emirates.
Eventually go bust or are bought back by the government as a strategic asset.
Unlike the broader sharemarket, where the long term trend is UP, the long term trend for airlines is DOWN.
