Thailand Unrest > I have just returned from Thailand. When I went over there the Australian Government were saying to delay departure.
IMO the current General that is governing the country has it under total control with many restrictions being lifted due to the very calm situation. Curfews being adjusted according to the peace that currently exists. This general had a sense of love for the country and in his speech was very passionate.
The manner in which he spoke on TV and the conditions he has imposed on the country IMO says he is doing an excellent job. There was No Violence when I was there. It was extremely peaceful and I felt safe.
There were a few army soldiers about at strategic places.
He made our government look third world. I can only hope that the general practises what he preached.
I guess the only problem is can business deals be made under the control of the Army.
