My view is that it must be about the batteries. Why rebuild the Next Battery site if you've got nothing to show and nothing to report? Why embarrass yourself? If the battery tech was a failure, Benton would just quietly shut the site down and go back to concentrating on his aluminium and scandium aircraft parts business. We don't know about the funding round results because of commercial-in-confidence demands from the investors. It's a private company after all. GLTAH.
