Thanks for the reply, you obviously have a thorough understanding of how the market works and acknowledge that the market is not following fundamentals. My point is that there is a considerably large percentage of mum and dad investors that are ‘all in’ on stocks who have no experience or financial advice. Literally taking huge gambles based on this forum and Facebook pages. The market will eventually have to reflect on fundamentals and when it does they will loose hard.

When these Australians have put every last cent in shares because of inflated promise of returns, where do you think they will cash out first to pay bills? If 300,000 Aus are prepared to pull from super I’m sure they will quickly pull their shares.
if they were lucky and managed to pull their shares at profit, what happens when they can’t make future debt repayments? House, car and child costs? We have seen it before and in years to come everyone will go, how did we not see that coming?
