That would be like a crippled man carrying a corpse, and besides they would need money for that wouldn't they lizzy? Waiting on level 3 as if some sort of magic might prove no more than a wish dream. With limited domestic flights for a prolonged period, flying those half empty planes at a loss due to required seat spacings might bring the company more rapidly to that critical point Virgin arrived at so abruptly, one thing is certain, Virgin will not be the last. Current outgoings are extreme and will be coming home to roost for real in the very near term.
The govt loan is exorbitant and will play back into their hand one way or the other as they could quite conceivably let this go to the wall and pick up the remainder for nixs at the fire sale.
I wouldn't be gambling more than I was genuinely prepared to lose on this one.
