As for China engaging in a war with the USA and at the same time attacking its largest Allie Russia Germany tried that one and it didn’t end well.

Australia is a completely soft touch as we have absolutely no ability to defend against strategic weapons or retaliate. The Chiefs of Australia’s Defence forces have said exactly this in Senate hearings on Australia’s preparedness or actually lack of preparedness.

I have never said the CCP is shaping up to attack Australia but dismissing the possibility if the US and the CCP entered into arm conflict is foolish in the extreme.

The CCP already has considerable investment in Australia and you probably did not notice that the first thing that happened when Russia invaded Ukraine was the USA and Australia and others froze their assets.

I feel confident that if the USA and the CCP entered armed conflict the USA would require the same from its Allies.
