Elleburra, must confess, first time I read your story while back,was a wide eye opener.
I am one of those who fall in love with their stocks,deadly sin I know, and felt like
a rope walker 20 stories up high in the air suddenly hearing a voice (your post)
in the microphone announcing:
"ladies and gentlemen we have now removed the safety net!"
Funny how sometimes our repeated painful experiences do not tend to wake us up
as effectively as someone else's unexpected revelation.
Shows how strongly people, including myself, tend to hold on to their beliefs and hopes
even against evidence to the contrary.
This story to me was the first time I ever contemplated the idea that even a stock
with the prospects of CST after two FDA approvals and soon with a third
might possibly end up being for reasons outside of its management's ability
another 10 years wait or so.
It does not look very likely at the moment, or I still resist the idea to see or accept it so.
I truly and mightily hope it is not but going back to egoli times
when/where I first became aware of the CST stock, buying like hot cakes at the time,
and looking at last year's prediction polls as to where SP and or/sales
would be by the end of the year etc I can see that expectations have been a lot
higher and much closer than a constant unchanging nagging suspicion of
"maybe in another 5 years" which I believe has been predicted by some
from those times back and still now and yet the number 5 magically does not get
reduced...after the first five years or after the first six years..you get my drift...
Leaving behind past history and past speculation
Is there anyone who could possibly assess within reason how long it would realistically
take till that ...US gov military is ready, logistics and all, for the start of
substantial orders? This I believe IS the Big Thing!
Please don't say --- 5 years, this number s been already taken and it appears to be
on a perpetual loop ...ROFL!!! -- :-) - (:-} - (:-D - :-)
