I must disagree with you Wayne swann is not I repeat not a good treasurer, He is a dud, in your own words he has put this tax on without consultation with miners then has the gaul to tell others not to go public b4 consulting.
Swann imo is one of the worst treasurers Australia has had.
He has put Australia into debt without any consideration of his action
He has caused many to have their super devalued.
So that my opinion and he has caused some of the fall in the Australian share market
