The UN is in no way with out its faults but what needs to happen is the faults fixed not the whole thing scapped even if it would suit some countries who spit the dummy every time they do not get things their own way.
One of the main issues appear to be the security council simple remove a country's right to veto and if a country is not happy with the outcome of the security council put the resolution to the general assembly and let the world decide how important issues are to be handled.
