general Hi Croupier,

To see the UN hesitate is a worry.If we just concentrate on Iraq for a minute,I would like to know just how long things would have dragged on before some intervention was needed in this area.

Sooner or later this area will (or should I say)has exploded.

I think someone had to bring this to a head and I think things like Sept 11 and in a small way the Bali incident brought us to this action.

The other way was to ignore the ME and hoped that democracy came their way.

The Americans have been rattled and in a way I do not blame them.As we all know when things get a bit sticky we all ask the Yanks to help.Our alliance with USA has always been strong..over 100 years

So do we continue to intervene now or wait ???
